Sandstar stopped and retraced his steps to the confrey. He grabbed some and started to chew it.

"Stop. Please," coughed Ospreywing as she lifted her head up feebly. She caught sight of Nemesis and she froze. She eased her head on the ground and closed her eyes again.
"Yes, stop. It's comfrey, and he was chewing it, it needs to be chewed so it can be used for an herb," explained Leopardglare in a tolerant voice. "Nemesis, by any chance, are you a caracal? You don't look like any average forest cat."

Leopardglare shot Sandstar a look that said, No. Not now. He took some of the chewed comfrey and eased it down Ospreywing's throat.
"That should be enough for now."
Runepaw stopped his paw advancing toward the pile of daisy leaves and moved it back under him. "Will she be alright?"
Leopardglare nodded, and Runepaw exhaled with relief.

Leopardglare nodded. "I think I've done enough. All we need now is to get her out of the hole."
He nudged the she-cat's shoulder. "Ospreywing. We're going to get you out." His gaze turned to Nemesis. "Can you get her out, please? You're much bigger, and it would cause her less pain if you picked her up by the scruff and took her out."
Ospreywing stiffened at the proposal to be picked up by a caracal. She was terrified of them, and scared her to have one pick her up, let alone be in her Clan. It wasn't that she didn't trust him, it was just that she was scared. "O-okay. P-p-please don't hurt me," she stuttered.
