Ospreywing turned her head slowly backwards, to look at her back. There wasn't a mark to be seen. Or maybe she wasn't looking properly. "Freedom... I think it just might be a trick of the eyes," she murmured softly, "I don't have sibilings in the forest... And you're a caracal. My mother and father... Were neither caracals," the silvery-gray she-cat finished with a bit more bravado. She flicked her tail at him and turned back to the mysterious black tomcat. Didn't he say we needed to know who he was? But he wasn't telling us! How were we supposed to figure out who he was? Some sign from StarClan? It was obvious by his shifting, purple eyes that he was possibly take hostage by the twolegs and tested on... Or he wasn't your average cat. "Sandstar," Ospreywing whispered urgently to the sandy-colored tomcat, "I don't think he's a normal cat-- well, I know he's a wildcat, but maybe he's not... Like... Normal," I finish awkwardly, adverting my soft blue gaze to the large, opposing, wildcat. ;; Earth ~ Jynx ;; Jynx was obviously having fun. But it wasn't evident in his tone. His sadistic, cat-ish smile broke into a scornful, amused smile, his eyes taking on a more scrutinizing, rudely-playful look, as if he were trying to see how to take advantage of these cats the most. "Oh, but that would ruin the fun!" he purrs, his pink tongue, very contrasted from the rest of his body, poked out to slowly lick at his sharp, red-tinged teeth. He got up from his feet and, quick as a blink, lunged out and snatched Ospreywing into his jaws, his teeth biting harmlessly on her scruff, making him dangle from his jaws. Just as suddenly as he was grabbed her, he had backed away out of pawing length from Sandstar. "Come and get her," he meowed nearly very clearly as his eyes took on a fully playful expression; though it harbored blatant danger. The she-cat couldnt react as she was snatched up by the large, terrifying cat. She barely even knew until it was too late to do anything. Soon, she was dangling off the ground, and then she realized she was in this cat's jaws. His bite on her scruff was so light, she could scarcely feel it unless she was trying. "Mmph... Let me GO!" Ospreywing hissed, thrashing around, making her foot hurt once again. Her hiss turned into a pained whimper, much to this wildcat's delight. His seductive purr came quietly into her ear, even though he was holding her: "You have a lot of spunk for a little feral cat... With an injured foot, at that. This is what I enjoy. Now watch your little friend come and get you." Ospreywing thrashed about more, her eyes widened in fear. A growl came from the wildcat and his grip on her scruff tightened uncomfortably, but never enough to hurt. She stayed still, and the grip on her scruff lightened until it almost felt like he wasn't holding her.

Blue eyes widened in horror at Sandstar's fighting proposal. No! He couldn't do that! There had to be five clans. Each with a leader. This cat was obviously much larger and more powerful than Sandstar. Forget about being defeated-- by this cat, he would easily be killed. The grace and speed in which this mysterious black cat had scooped Ospreywing up was certainly not normal. The wildcat had rendered the loner she-cat helpless in a matter of seconds; he could easily kill Sandstar with those long, sharp claws. But only a mrrow of amusement came from the cat holding her hostage, which only angered Ospreywing more. She wanted so badly to tell Sandstar to stop this nonsense and realize his inevitable death if this wildcat accepted the challenge. But Sandstar wouldn't listen to her anyway. Might as well let him die. StarClan help us.;; Earth ~ Jynx ;; How could this puny, sandy-colored leader, gazing up at him with determined eyes, expect to win against the divine? One swipe, and it would all be over; the prophecy changed, Spacialstar enraged. One swipe, and Jynx would be stripped of his title and killed. The StarClan leader had already told him where he would go if he were killed at the paws of the most divine of all. Wiped from the face of this earth. He wouldn't be able to think, walk on four paws. It would all be black. Nothingness. And he would be the first one.
No, he couldn't accept this careless challenge, no matter how much he wanted to. So badly he wanted to prove to this careless cat that he was not a legitimately-living cat. Wanted to prove he had abilities beyond what this cat would expect. No. He was only here to lie. Spread endless lies that would befuddle these simple minds.
"A very enticing offer, Sandstar. But I cannot accept. It would... Shall I say... anger some," Jynx meowed through a mouthful of fur, though his words came out clearly, as if he hadn't had a full-grown she-cat in his jaws. "I suppose I cannot have as much fun as I would like to. This would help every cat. My name, you want?" Not his true name. His loner name. Not his Clan name. His loner name. It wasn't a lie. Unfortunately it wasn't. "Paradox," he meowed proudly, sitting down and puffing out his chest proudly. Jynx now looked down at Sandstar disdainfully. "Surely you must know what paradox means? Or are your puny feral-cat minds too small for the concept of grasping the meaning?" He could tell by the way Ospreywing stiffened that she did not like the way he had implied feral cats were stupid.

"Just leave and let her go," I said. I realized that he could kill me in one swipe but he would too be dead. I backed away a little. "Jynx let her go otherwise star clan will hear about this," I said. My paws tensed but stopped I won't end my life here because of you infact I thought maybe I should leave this clan for a little while and go to a different clan and spend some time there to learn there ways of how to be a leader because I was not being a good one. My mind was made up "Ospreywing I can't save you because he is too strong so I will leave and come back soon," I said. "Oh and Jynx watch over the clan when I gone, later ,"I said and walked away.
:Clay: I watched as the cat walked away and their it was I could lead while he's gone but how to get Jynx away. I moved a little in the bush annd gave my cover away. I decided just to go out so I got out and saw him she wasn't surpised how he looked. "Hi uh I am Clay uh I was wondering if I could be leader while he is gone?"
"Sandstar:
I saw as the cat walked up to Jynx but it wasn't my fault. I kept walking and got to my clan and got my belonging but I noticed I couldn't carry it all. So I left all my stuff and walked away the best and fastest route I could take to get to FrostStar was probably go southern Eastern and meet her at Thunder Clan. I sighed and started my journey to her.

((Paradox. You know him as Paradox, not Jynx.)) Ospreywing's tail flicked and her face betrayed the sadness she was trying to keep consealed. Why had he left her? ;; Earth ~ Jynx ;; Silly little feral cats. Little does he know I am a fallen StarClan member. Indeed; StarClan would hear about this. They had already heard, Jynx mocked the cat within his mind. It was that easy to sway him? He was to keep this she-cat in his jaws for however long Sandstar was gone? It would be so easy to kill her right now... Get this stupidly simple game over with. Put her down, Jynx, put her down. No, Jynx. She'll run away like the coward she is. Don't let her go. Conflicting, turmoiling thoughts. What was he to do? Put her down. Tell her not to leave--
Who was this cat? Clay? Certainly not a Clan name.
Jynx's eyes narrowed to mere slits as he carefully set Ospreywing down, pinning her fragile back under his massive paw. She was rendered unable to more, more painfully than last time. The more she squirmed, more pressure was added upon her spine. Once she relaxed (not very long; she had common sense), the black panther-hybrid glared at the newly-appeared Clay. "And what kind of Clan-cat name is that? Clay? You are certainly a loner. Not a deputy, or anything close to being worthy of leader." He scoffed and his violet eyes glowed eerily. "Sandstar is leader. And leaders are to be with their Clans. You do not assign untrustworthy loners to lead a dismembered clan," he added with a cat-ish smirk.

"I"m probably a better leader then you ,"said Clay. "Please just leave this clan ,"said Clay. "Without Ospreywing please,"she added. "I will make sure that if you leave I will provide food for your journey to where ever you live,"said Clay.
:Sandstar:
Finally I got out of the clan but I had second thought but kept walking. There was a tree leg and I wasn't paying attention and tripped over it. I brushed off and kept walking it might be a while before I get there so I decided to make camp here. There were tree nearby and one was hollow and I went in it and closed my eyes and slept.

( When you reply to this post, you have my permission to skip time. ) ;; Earth ~ Jynx ;; Who... Was this cat? How did she know Ospreywing? Unless they were part of the Clan. Assumptions were necessary at this point. A baffled hellcat was not a good cat to be around. Clearing his throat, and pressing a claw into the squirming Ospreywing's spine, Jynx meowed matter-of-factly, "Let me correct you on several accounts. We are not in Clan territory. I am perfectly capable of capturing my own food-- twice as much as you could probably do in a day. And perhaps you would make a more... peaceful leader." He finished with a quick flick of his head. Staring disdainfully down at the limp Ospreywing and turning the corner of his lip down in a half-scowl, he growled, "I assume you want this heap of useless gray fur with you, don't you." Jynx hooked his claw into Ospreywing's flesh, eliciting a screech from the she-cat. Her crimson-red blood soaked into the fur below the hellcat's claw. As if Ospreywing was a ragdoll, Jynx tossed her toward Clay, detatching his claw from her back at the last possible second with a sickly audible sliding sound. Blood droplets graced the air and dyed the tips of the still grass blades. The helpless gray she-cat landed directly in front of Clay with a rustle of the grass. The black cat's eyes glistened with amusement. "I shall be back later. Make sure that useless scrap stays alive." And with that, Jynx simply melted into the shadows. Ospreywing was in searing pain. That cat's claws weren't normal. It felt as if something had been injected into her besides the claw itself. And he had easily tossed her aside with one claw. The entry wound would have normally been an inch wide, but due to the tossing around, it was now about two inches wide and still bleeding strong. Each pulse of her heartbeat brought more pulses of blood steaming out of her wound, staining her plush silvery-gray fur damp red with gore. "Ohhh.... C-Clay..." she moaned, her eyes fluttering shut. "Help... M-me... He's... not normal... Not... A... Hack!" Ospreywing began to meow, but was interrupted by a cough, bringing up some blood. "T-tell me... Where did he st-ab me? P-oint to it," she managed to choke out, holding in a torrent of coughing up blood. It felt as if the entry wound was right beside her upper spine, the spine area just below her shoulder blades. Ospreywing's entire frame shook, looking up to Clay with begging blue eyes.

"It's right there around your neck and your stomach,"she said. Where is Runepaw he can patch you up with me. "We need you to get back to the clan and hurry before he comes back,"said Clay. She pressed on the wound around her neck. "Wait I know who we need we need Leopardglare," she said. "If I go and get her will you be alright with Runepaw by your side,"Clay asked.
::two hour sped up::
Sandstar
I finally reached Thunder clan. I walked in the boundary and was looking for Froststar. This might be harder then I thought. Ah ha that den must be it. I walked over there and saw a figure in the shadows.

( Move to the ThunderClan Camp Thread, if there is one. I'll create the thread. You'll have to reply to this and that one. )
Ospreywing nodded her head slightly, rustling her whiskers against the grass, and slowly curled up into a ball. "H-he'll come soon. Runestone will wake up from the lack of warmth at his side. Let's stay here until I am in more fit condition to travel," she meowed softly, letting her eyelids flutter over her baby blue eyes.
Runestone rustled awake; the cause being the dropping of his body temperature. Ospreywing wasn't back yet... Had something happened? "Osprey...wing?" murmured the apprentice-aged tomcat as he pushed himself to his paws. He shimmyed out of the bushes and stretched, lowering his muzzle to the ground. Instantly he caught a wiff of the intoxicating scent of the she-cat. With a dertermined glint in his bright blue eyes, he began to follow it.

"Ok ," said Clay. "So you like Sandstar ,"Clay asked? I personally like Runestone so please just don't tell him,"Clay begged. "So who fetches the food around these parts," said Clay?

( Not supposed to be on... My posts may be inadequate. -w- )
The hint of a frown tugged at Ospreywing's hidden features. She liked Runestone? It was probably for the best; Clay was closer to Runestone's age than Ospreywing was. But... Runestone treated her better--
No. Not now. Not when a pulsating wound was slowly gushing out crimson fluid from a deprived body, gradually leaking the life away. Paler and paler, weaker and weaker. Anger wouldn't help any cat right now. Nor would it help to spread the fact that Clay had affection for Runestone. This secret-- was safe with Ospreywing-- For now.
Ignoring Clay's first statement/plea, the bloodied she-cat meowed, "Warriors in WindClan do the hunting. Sometimes Sandstar does it. Most times I do... But the way I am now, I can't. Runestone is learning... But I don't think he's up for the task of hunting for three. Think you can do it?" She lifted her nearly perfectly-formed cat face off the green grass. The rising run cast brilliant red, orange, and pink stretching fingers into the sky and accentuated Clay's young features. A small purr rumbled in the gray she-cat's chest.
~
Runestone peeked from behind a bush-- one could easily see him, bright blue eyes curiously studying from a light gray face. He could see Ospreywing and some other she-cat. It was obvious his beloved was badly injured, the way the grass was stained dark red, sinking into the soil, raising a small, nearly undetectable stench. He had intantly wanted to attach the other cat... But the way she was meowing to Ospreywing... They obviously knew each other. Now... To go over or not to go over?

Clay looked at the bushes, colored eyes were their and saw blue in them she knew it was Runestone but she averted her gaze from the bush. "Will you be ok while I hunt for us. "We need stuff to patch that up to, she nodded I will be back soon,"said Clay. She walked away into the forest to go huntin.

Ospreywing lifted her nose up to gaze into Clay's eyes, but she was already gone. Tch, didn't even give me a chance to-- Don't criticize the cat. She must be in late apprenticehood. She wouldn't know. Come on, give her a chance. "H'mm," the she-cat huffed as she let her head fall to the grassy earth. A pulse of pain coursed through her back. At least the grassy tendrils were perhaps stopping the blood from gushing all over the place? Her whiskers twitched. Why couldn't she be doing something helpful instead of laying around like this?
Runestone saw his chance to go over as the she-cat went to presumably go hunting. But he didn't want to frighten Ospreywing. He let out a meow... Or what was supposed to be a meow. The meow, supposed to be a comforting, "I'm here," meow, came out as a kitish squeak. How embarrassing. The meow seemed to alert Ospreywing, her ears swiveled around , trying to locate where the sound was sourced. A mrrow of amusement came from her and she meowed, "Come on out, Runestone. It's okay. That she-cat was only Clay. She's a good cat." He padded out beside her and sat down. "...Hi," he meowed awkwardly after a few moments.
